New Delhi: The Union Education Minister has given his response to the allegations of cheating in the NET and UGC-NET exams and said that no one involved in the case will be spared. The government cares about the future security of the students. Investigation is on, action will be taken after clear evidence is found. Strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty of the National Testing Agency (NTA). A committee will be formed to make NTA more efficient. The committee will make recommendations regarding the formation and management of the NTA. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has called not to spread rumour in such a sensitive incident.
In a press conference held in New Delhi today, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed the media representatives about the cancellation of the UGC-NET exam and said that it was known that the question papers were leaked from the dark web and Telegram. We announced the cancellation of the exam immediately after the question paper was discovered. A CBI inquiry into the incident was ordered with the examination canceled.
