The Paris Olympics are going to start from July 26. 12 players from Keith and Keys College have qualified to participate. Keith is the first school in the country to have so many athletes participate in the Olympics from any school. Achut Samantha, the founder of Kit and Kis, has announced an incentive amount of 7 lakhs to all the players. Yesterday, in a special event, all the players of the Paris Olympics were joined virtually. Meanwhile, Achut Samantha announced the incentive amount for the players and wished them success. Achyut Samantha said to the players, “We strongly believe that you will bring glory to the country for your hard work and sacrifice.”

According to information, the players who will join the kit in Paris Olympics 2024 are Amit Rohidas in hockey, Kishore Kumar in javelin throw and Annu Queen. Tejinder Singh Tur and Ava Khatua in 3000 and 5000 meter steeplechase, Priyanka in 20 km race walk and marathon race walk mixed relay, Jyoti Yaraji in 4×400 meter relay team, Ankita in 20 km Paramjit Singh Beast in Swak , Suraj Panwar has joined the marathon race walk mixed relay team.

In the press conference held, Achyut Samantha said, “Kit and Kis is the first educational institution in the country from which maximum number of Olympians are participating in the Olympics.” A total of 20 Olympians and 2 Paralympians have been made from Keith and Kisru so far. They represented India in 2016 Rio Olympics, 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 12 are going to participate in 2024 Paris Olympics. Among them are 7 Arjuna award winning players. Professor Baljit Singh Sekhon, Joint Editor, Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Indian Universities Association, Chancellor of Keet University and others were also present in this event.
