Today is the holy Sunabesh or Ladatbhava Besh. The administration of the Sri Mandir has made all the preparations for how to hold the peace and order of the Mahaprabhu. As lakhs of devotees are expected to throng the shrine to witness the rare golden appearance of the Lord on the chariot, the district and police administration have made elaborate arrangements. Then the Darshan will start between 5-7 pm and will continue till 11 pm. Along with this, the administration expects that 15 lakh people will meet.
Devotees coming for Sunabesh darshan will enter the one-way barricade at Market Street, have Sunabesh darshan and depart on Lord Balabhadra’s chariot. Elaborate arrangements have been made by the administration for orderly viewing of devotees, security, facilities and traffic management. Devotees will pass Nandighosh Chariot Parshava on a side road in order to first see Sri Jagannath, then Goddess Subhadra and finally Lord Balabhadra in golden attire and return through Tal Dhwaj Chariot Parshava. On Wednesday, there will be a grand procession of Srijivas on the chariot. In the morning, after performing the daily ritual on three chariots, in the afternoon, after offering incense and milam, Srijiu will be decorated with gold. Lakhs of devotees are eagerly waiting to see the appearance of Lord Mahaprabhu.
