Bhubaneswar, 26.11.2024 –
The Constitution Day was observed with great reverence today at the East Coast Railway (ECoR) headquarters, Rail Sadan. The occasion was led by General Manager Shri Parmeshwar Funkwal, who, along with others, participated in the collective reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. The event was attended by all Principal Heads of Departments (HoDs), along with Additional General Manager Shri Mohes Kumar Behera, senior officials, and staff.
As part of the celebrations, Constitution Day was also observed across all three Railway Divisions under the East Coast Railway jurisdiction – Khurda Road, Waltair, and Sambalpur. The observance extended to various railway stations across ECoR as well. Railway personnel stationed in remote locations also actively participated in the event by reading out the Preamble of the Indian Constitution at their respective workstations.
The programme was meticulously coordinated by Principal Chief Personnel Officer Shri Siddharth Kati. The observance of Constitution Day at East Coast Railway reflected the organization’s deep respect for the values enshrined in the Constitution and the importance of upholding its principles in daily life and work.
This initiative is part of East Coast Railway’s ongoing commitment to creating awareness about the significance of the Indian Constitution and promoting constitutional values among its staff and stakeholders.
