Mumbai: Billboard collapse incident in Mumbai. The death toll has risen to 14. A billboard collapsed in Ghatkopar area due to heavy dust storm and rain on Monday afternoon. A total of 88 people were affected, while 74 people are under treatment for injuries. Several cars parked there were damaged when the billboard fell. Local train services have been disrupted on some routes due to rain water flowing over the railway tracks. NDRF teams have been sent to the affected areas. The injured have been admitted to Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation-run Rajawadi Hospital. Several people were injured when a hoarding fell near Wadala on the Thane-Belapur highway. It is reported that the auto driver was seriously injured when a tree fell on the auto in Yogeshwari. Metro services on Aray-Andheri East route were suspended for two hours due to rain and dust storm. A large hoarding fell on a power line due to a storm in Goregaon area, causing a power outage. The railway signal pole on the Thane-Mulund route has been bent due to strong winds. Residents of Mumbai have been advised to stay at home until the weather returns to normal.
